Move in Move out report in ePayRents is a very simple and intuitive process. During lease creation, we allow landlords to upload “move-in” images. Similarly, when ending a lease, the system allows uploading “move out” images. Please remember: our system is cloud-based. This means that you can access those images securely at any time. We also store, timestamps when images had been uploaded. This evidence might serve you as a proving point at court and demonstrate the condition of the property when the tenant moves out.

Why do you need this feature?

Having evidence of the condition of the property before a tenant moves in and after, gives you proven evidence of the condition of your asset before and after a tenant moves in and moves out. As a landlord, if certain conditions are described in your lease, you have a right to keep the tenant’s security deposit in case if tenant destroyed or damaged your property. Our reports will give you the following benefits:

How to protect your assets?

It is your responsibility, under law, to provide your tenants with a secure place they can live in. This is called the warranty of habitability. Sometimes, tenants start a dispute with you stating that the apartment they moved into was not habitable in the first place. This is true for example where the heating or hot water doesn’t work, but it can also be due to an infestation by rodents or insects.
